Warranty & Consumer Guarantees

For any warranty claims, please contact the original vendor or retailer as your
first point of contact.

 

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. This may include a receipt,
bank or credit card statement, or other reasonable evidence showing the product
was purchased from an authorised Bug-A-Salt retailer.

 

Due to the complexity of the Bug-A-Salt mechanism, including components such as the
salt hopper, specialised tools and assembly expertise are required. For safety
and reliability reasons, individual spare parts are not sold separately.

 

If a fault arises within the warranty period, and the issue does not amount to a
substantial failure under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, we may replace or
refund the product in accordance with our obligations under the Act.

 

Where a substantial failure occurs, you may be entitled to choose a replacement or
refund.

 

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act
1993 (NZ).
